🐾 Game Concept Overview

Title: Whisker Pact
Genre: Fantasy Adventure / Casual RPG
Platform: Mobile & Switch
Summary:
Play as a magical black cat under the guidance of a forest witch. Your mission is to complete mystical tasks, befriend other stray animals (especially ally cats), and gather food to survive—all while uncovering and stopping a curse that threatens black cats everywhere.

1. 🧭 Main HUD (In-Game Overlay)

Element Description:

🌕 Energy BarCrescent-shaped bar that tracks the cat's stamina; fades at nightfall.

🐟 Food InventorySmall icons of fish, milk, and berries in a pouch pop-up on the bottom-left.

🧙 Quest IconWitch’s hat icon top-right, tapping opens current task list.

🐾 Friends TrackerSmall portraits of allied cats with heart icons showing bond levels.

🧭 Mini MapCircular enchanted map showing locations of allies, food spots, threats.

2. 📜 Quest Log Pop-Up

  • Witch's Scroll Theme: A parchment UI that "unrolls" from the top.

  • Active Quest Example:

  • Tabs for:

    • Active Tasks

    • Completed Tasks

    • Ritual Progress (saving black cats)

3. 🐾 Friends Panel

  • Grid of cats you’ve met—grayed out if unknown.

  • Hover/tap to show:

    • Name, backstory, bond level (★ rating)

    • "Gift" button to give food or help

    • "Follow me" button to recruit them

4. 🪄 Witch’s Ritual UI (Save the Black Cats)

  • Celestial circle showing how many cats have been saved.

  • Progress ring with stars and glowing runes.

  • Tapping a rune shows a short animation of a saved cat returning to the witch’s sanctuary.

5. ⚙️ Settings / Pause Menu

  • Calm aesthetic: glowing fireflies, ambient forest background

  • Options:

    • Resume

    • Sound/Music toggle

    • Cat Profile (your current stats: bond level, hunger, energy)

    • Exit to Menu
